On Saturday the 22nd of June, the club celebrated with our changeover dinner for 2025. It was a fantastic night held at the Narrogin Inn, an historic pub in Armadale.
Almost all members were in attendance along with partners, as well as Past District Governor Phil Cordery, Armadale Rotary president Anthony Pyle & his partner Amy, and Armadale Rotary past-president Craig Alford & his partner Eileen. Incoming President Chris Round invited his parents along for the dinner as well.

The evening began with a report from outgoing president Tom Hoyer, an International Toast by past-president Lindsay Irwin & toast response by PDG Phil. Tom presented Ramone Glasgow with his “Rotarian of the Year” award, and the club increased Denise D’Agnone’s Paul Harris Fellow Plus recognition to 3 sapphires, along with a new pin to commemorate.
After the main meal, the changeover took place and Tom handed over the president’s collar and club constitution to Chris. The new board members were then invited to stand and join Chris, with Lindsay staying on as Vice-President, Brenda Roe for Secretary, Denise D’Agnone continuing as Treasurer, Tom taking the Sargeant role, Ramone Glasgow continuing as Foundation chair, and Cam Tran coming in as Youth Co-Ordinator.

After dessert, Cam recited an incredible poem about all the members of the club, with some great banter between everyone. Craig then said some lovely words about his professional & personal relationship with Chris, and was proud to see him become President. Chris then finished with his final words for the changeover, and is looking forward to the year ahead with his new team.
